CVS becomes first pharmacy to implement program about potential herb-drug interactions

Each time a customer fills a drug prescription, the CVS Pharmacy computer will automatically print out a list of potential interactions with herbs and vitamins the individual is taking. The pharmacy is currently advertising the service through a nationwide television and print advertising campaign. CVS is the #1 drugstore chain in the US with approximately 4,100 stores throughout the country.
