The official language of the meeting will be English. The South African currency of exchange is the Rand (R). Banking hours are from 08:30 to 15:30 weekdays, closed Saturday afternoons and Sundays. Automatic Teller Machines are available in the main business centers. We advise guests to obtain personal travel and health insurance. During April the weather in Cape Town is usually very pleasant, with daytime temperatures in the mid twenty °C with slightly cooler evenings. Please note that malaria tablets should be taken if you intend to visit Mpumalanga province (northeastern South Africa) or countries to the north. Please consult your medical practitioner.
